Cleaning Up

Today was a very productive day for me. I deep cleaned my room because I wanted to fully enjoy my new jewelry hanger. It is great and really is the perfect way to hang my necklaces. I wanted to show some pictures of it so that you could see it in use and maybe get some ideas on how to organize your jewelry.

Here are the links to the jewelry organizer:

CES: My Favs

Reading about the consumer electronics show has made me very excited about the future. I have been hearing things about hand gesture controls in cars, forks that help you lose weight, and bendable glass. I am very excited about the really thin HDTV's.

By far, the best part of the show coverage was the stuff about the tabletop PC's/tablets. I mean a huge 27 inch tablet is something I dream about. I would love just sitting around my coffee table finishing my homework while my brother is on the other side reading ESPN or something. This idea could go places and totally wipe out home PC's. I mean I haven't heard about any new home PC technology in a while, but here it is in the form of a replacement. Consider me on the bandwagon.

I recently came across this awesome video that blows my mind, and I totally wanted to share it with you guys. You will love it I promise. The title is pretty self explanatory: it is a mash-up of popular songs from 2012 all handpicked and edited by this genius. Enjoy!

All-Time Favs- Songs

I love many different songs, mainly all pop songs, but there are a select few that stick out in my mind as all-time favorites. Most of these made the list because of some sentimental memory that is associated with it.

1. The Safety Dance- Men without Hats
My parents told me I used to dance to this song all the time when I was about two. They even have a video of me bopping to this song in the living room. I guess you could say it was the beginning of my dancing career.

2. Baby Beluga
I know this is kind of silly, but it was my favorite song to sing in music class in Kindergarten.

3. This Little Light of Mine
This is a religious song that all of my Communion Class song at our First Communion.

4.Replay- Iyaz
Iyaz, man, you really disappointed me by being a one hit wonder. Replay was my first favorite top 40's song because this was popular right around the time I discovered the radio.

5. Say Hey- Michael Franti
I don't know, but this song is just so catchy, and I love it.

6. Poker Face- Lady Gaga
During my earliest dances with my friends this song would always play and this one kid would always do this really cheesy dance that became a staple of every dance since. Later, my school banned Lady Gaga songs, so when they wouldn't play it, we had a sitdown strike, and nobody would dance, but it didn't work. Thankfully, at our last school dance we were allowed to play it, and it was a really great moment watching the same kid do the same dance.

7. Wavin' Flag- K'naan
I have camp, family, and friend memories associated with this song.

8. While we are on the subject of camp, I would like to make a shoutout to all my beloved camp songs including Whooping Bird, Little Red Wagon, and Boddidli Bop.

9. Forget You- Cee lo Green
There's not really any story behind this, I just like it a lot.

10. We are Young- Fun.
Many memories are associated with this song including my class trip to Washington D.C. It was the best 3 days of my life, and this song brings me back every time.

11. I'll be There- Jackson Five (remix by Mariah Carey)
The Mariah Carrey version of this song was my parents wedding song. I also love Michael Jackson, so of course this song makes the list.

12. Grenade- Bruno Mars
I can sing this song front to back, and it is sung by one of my favorite singers.

13. Dog Days are Over- Florence and the Machine
Florence is absolutely amazing, and this song seriously is one of the best ever. I also like her song Cosmic Love.

14. Home- Phillip Phillips
I don't know what it is about this song, but I love the melody and everything!

Well that's my list as of now, the seventh of December! Hope you enjoyed it!

New Pandora Bracelet

Hi there everyone! One of my Christmas presents I received this year was a Pandora bracelet plus a charm. Now, before receiving this I was weary of these bracelets because of the high level of potential addictiveness. It could be dangerous considering how expensive the charms can be. I saw one that was $600 dollars! Contrary to my precaution I love my bracelet. It really is beautiful. The charm is a little purse with a pink jewel on it. These bracelets are kind of a thing in my family. All the girls have them. I am part of the club now I guess!

With my bracelet, I also got the catalog which I should never have looked at because now I want every darn charm in that thing. They are all so beautiful. I think I will circle the ones I really want so that when Christmas rolls around again I can ask for them.

I do recommend these bracelets as presents or just a splurge for yourself. They are really pretty and add character to any outfit!

HTC One V Review

Disclaimer: I am not a techy person or anyone who has any real merit to give this review, but if you want a purely user review I'm your girl.

I have had the HTC One V for about four or five months. It is my first smartphone, and, let me tell you, it is way better than my old Rumor 2. I mean I love that baby because it was my first phone, but come on you can't argue with the versatility of a smart phone. There are pros and cons to my One V. I will give you a list here:

Pros:
1. The design is very sleek.
2. I think it runs the newest android os
3. The contacts sync with google so it is easy to have your contacts with you everywhere
4. The widgets allow me to see my todo list and calendar very easily
5. Beats audio
6. The vibration is noticeable (I don't know if its just me, but my other phone seemed less noticeable)

Cons:
1. Sometimes the phone seems to get confused, and it doesn't carry out the touch commands
2. I seem to notice that once in a while the notification for a text won't show up, so I end up not seeing it until way later
3. Sometimes the little icons are hard to move around on the screen
4. Slower than an iPhone (obviously)

So that is just some pros and cons from the top of my head. The phone was $150, except I was disappointed because on black Friday it was $50. Oh, well. Hope you enjoyed, and this was useful!

Pandora: Seriously You Need to Try It

If you are anything like me, then you can't live without music. Now, I am not calling myself a musician by any means because I am not. I just have a real appreciation for the beauty of music. I love having something that is so easy to remember. It really is interactive because you can sing with the song. I love pop music. I know I am probably too mainstream, but I don't really care. Now, to foster my love for music I use Pandora which is a free music streaming website which allows you to make your own custom channels based on what artists or songs you like. I don't know why I am telling you guys this because you probably already know, but here I am telling you anyway because I love Pandora so much. So, seriously, you need to get your computer's browser's butt over there and check it out. http://www.pandora.com/

A Fun Site to Check Out

This particular site is really fun for me to go to when I have a couple seconds or so of spare time. It is called Grouchy Rabbit. The purpose of the site is to allow people to make funny posts that mock things through sarcasm. There are six categories for posts: Tips for Successful Living, Fact, Definition, To Do, Signs That Things Aren't Going So Well, and Realized. My favorite category is usually To Do because it consists of crazy things that would be really fun, well, to do. Here is the link to check it out for yourself: http://grouchyrabbit.com/
